<p>Lesmore George Jarrett was born on June 3, 1948 in Saint Ann, Jamaica to the late Agatha Jarrett and Walter Jarrett. He was employed for over 20 years with the Duval County School Board (Highlands Middle School). Lesmore enjoyed serving the public and meeting people. He always had an encouraging word, a friendly smile, and was always dedicated to his work. Lesmore was a member of Jesus People Living Word Church, where he worship and received the word of God. </p><p><br></p><p>Lesmore departed this life Friday, December 18, 2015 and was preceded in death by his father, Walter Jarrett; mother, Agatha Jarrett; wife, Mary Jarrett; brother, Rudolph Jarrett, along with eight other brothers.</p><p><br></p><p>Lesmore leaves to cherish memories his brothers, Lloyd (Joan) Jarrett, Ira Jarrett, Byrose Jarrett, Rupert Jarrett, and Lepert (Bolethia) Jarrett; sisters, Eurina Jarrett and Mardie Jarrett; sister-in-laws, Mary Jarrett, Janice Sapp, and Wanda Smithson; his daughters, Brenda (Fred) Carter, Latisha Carter, and Yourhinest Carter; sons, Glenn (Rhonda) Carter, Raymond Carter, Edward (Tersa) Carter, and Earrol Jarrett; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends; special friends, Lena Harrison, Jamaal (Wade) Najieb, Robbie Sklodoski, and nephew, Errol (Theresa) Gordon.</p><p><br></p><p>The funeral service for Lesmore George Jarrett aka "RUSSELL" will be held 12:00 PM ,TUESDAY,at the Samuel C. Rogers Jr. Memorial Chapel 4315 N. Main Street Jacksonville, FL 32206. The visitation will be held 5 to 7 PM Monday at the mortuary . Interment in Pinkney Hill Cemetery, Lake City .
