Yvonne Clymer Obituary

Yvonne Marie Clymer, 93, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8th, 2016, with her family by her side. Born November 18th, 1922, in the town of Forchies-la-Marche, Belgium to Arthur and Martha Deltenre, Yvonne spent much of her childhood with her grandmother, Leotine Haudin. Nearing the end of World War II in 1945, she married an American soldier, Lt. Col. Samuel Clymer II, who had been stationed in Belgium. Shortly thereafter, Yvonne moved with Samuel to the United States, where they started a family. They traveled to some of the most beautiful places in the world during Samuel's tenure with the United States Army and eventually settled in Brevard County, Florida. Yvonne was a classy, witty, and loving lady who was always so appreciative of the life she had been given. She enjoyed cooking delicious food, reading countless books, and spending quality time with her family. Her beautiful accent and never-ending humor will be sorely missed. Yvonne is survived by her children, Samuel (Mary Lou) Clymer III, Martha (Bill) Miller, Daniel (Kat Cheedle) Clymer, and Lisette (Bruce) Grabbe; her grandchildren Samuel IV, Vail, Courtney, James, Martha and Lindsey; and her 7 great grandchildren whom she adored. Arrangements are being managed by Beach Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
