Kelli Dunn

Kelli Peacock Dunn of Blountstown passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in Tallahassee. Born in Natchez, Mississippi, October 4, 1967, Kelli was the daughter of Doug and Joyce Peacock. Kelli was News Editor for the County Record and was very active in community affairs. She served on the Main Street Board of Directors and Calhoun Chamber Board of Directors and it was Kelli that wrote plays for the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre sponsored by the Chamber. In the early 90’s, she was one of the founders of Helping Hands Ministries. She was a member of Rivertown Community Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Doug Peacock. Survivors include her husband, Jason Dunn of Blountstown; her son, Scott Dunn of Pensacola; daughter, Kelly Dunn of Panama City; her mother, Joyce Peacock of Blountstown; sister, Kim Jackson and her husband, Jay of Sneads; brother, Dave Mowat and his wife, Marlene of Kirkland Lake, Ontario; nephews, Jake and Jordan Jackson of Sneads, Jamie and Dustin Mowat of Ontario and a great-niece, Layla Jackson of Sneads. The family will receive friends at Adams Funeral Home, Friday, September 2, 4:00-6:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Rivertown Community Church, Saturday, September 3, 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Claude McGill and Reverend Bill Mayo officiating. Flowers are acceptable but memorial contributions to Partners for Pets, 4011 Maintenance Drive, Marianna, Florida 32446 is preferred. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
