James “Jimmy” Addis King, age 71, of Telogia, Florida went to rest in peace Wednesday, May 18, 2016 after a very long and courageous battle with cancer. Jimmy was delivered into this world by a mid-wife August 25, 1944, at his home in Graceville, Florida to the late Henry Addis and Evelyn (Hart) King. He worked as supervisor at Niagara Wires in Quincy for many years. Survivors include a loving son, Kenneth “Kenny” King and his wife Loretta; a very cherished grandson, Kenneth “Ken” King, II, a granddaughter, Morgen Brown and her fiancé, Chase Hill and a great-grandson, Rhett Hill, all of Telogia. He is also survived by Carolyn King, the mother of his children. In addition to his parents, Henry and Evelyn King, Jimmy was preceded in death by a very treasured son, James (Keith) King; three brothers, J. D., Randolph, and Joe King and a sister, Judy King. The family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 a.m. ET, Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Sanders Cemetery in Hosford. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. ET with Reverend Dan Wells officiating.
