Christopher Lee Fielder, Sr., age 63, of Altha passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at his home. Born in Jacksonville, February 15, 1953, Christopher was the son of the late Reese Elmer and Sarah (Rogers) Fielder. He worked as a dredge boat maintenance supervisor for many years and his favorite pastime was building old cars. Christopher was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Christopher is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Kaiser. Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Janice (Howard) Fielder of Altha; two sons, also of Altha, Christopher Fielder, Jr. and his wife, Sandra and Stephen Fielder and his wife, Ashley; six grandchildren, Jae, Chase, Serinity, Treyton, Kinslee, and Harley; a brother, Roger Fielder of Altha and a sister, Sharon Jones and her husband, Chuck of Athens, Georgia. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, at Hasty Pond Baptist Church in Altha.
