Gertrude Martin

Gertrude (Nadeau) Martin, 85, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Gerard Martin, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2016. She was born on April 14, 1931 in Caribou, ME to the late Dennis and Elzire (Goulette) Nadeau. Gertrude was an amazing person and will truly be missed and forever in the hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Michael and Rodney Martin; her grandchildren, Keegan Martin and his wife Alison and Haley Bohadik and her husband Timothy; great- grandchildren, Everett, Brady, Wyatt and Brooke; her sister Arlene and her husband Alphie St.Peter, cousins and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her Daughter, Deborah Martin. Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 9:30am-10:30am at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect Street, Rockville, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am at St. Bernard’s Church, 25 St Bernard’s Terrace, Rockville. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Britain.
