George Baker

George E. Baker, of Vernon, passed away on June 22, 2016. He was born July 9, 1924 to the late Harold and Ethel (Townsend) Baker. He retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. He is survived by his daughter; Lorraine Ewing and her husband Alex of Vernon; his sons; Donald and Christopher; his brother Charles; his grandchildren; Nathaniel, Matthew, Dawn, Kelly, Cheryl, Gregory and Earl; his great-grandchildren; Kirra-Lyn, Scott and George; a Great-Great Grandchild; Georgie and a very good family friend Anthony Hebert. George was predeceased by his wife Beatrice, his sons; Ronald and Burton, His brother William and his grandson Evan. A very special thank you to Kristina Wollen for being a wonderful family friend and caregiver. Relatives and friends may join the family on June 28, 2016, from 5pm-7pm at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, CT.
