David Wheeler

David B. Wheeler, 50, of Bristol, CT. was called home to God our Father Wednesday, July 27, 2016, after battling a year of cancer. Throughout this horrific disease he was brave and courageous to say the least. He was our "Gentle Giant" and never complained. David was born on July 4th 1966 in Bristol to Warren and Betty (Hawthorne) Wheeler. David was a chef for many years in the Farmington Valley area and worked for Grants, Bricco, and the Silo to name a few. David leaves behind his beloved wife, best friend, and soulmate Barbara (Barlowski) Wheeler, his mother Betty Wheeler, his sister Roberta Rohner, his favorite niece and nephew, Shannon and Tom Way, and his stepson Robert. He also leaves behind his best friend Linda Waterman whom he lovingly called Bonz as well as many lifelong friends and family. David was predeceased by his father Warren, and his stepdaughter Kara.
