Deborah Ann Griswold, age 72, of Trumbull, beloved wife to Gary Griswold, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. Born in Bridgeport on May 21, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn Carris Seaman. Deborah worked as an administrative assistant for Don Wall Corporation and the McClinch Crane Company for many years. She enjoyed attending Broadway plays with her theater group and friends, traveling, and baking. Most of all, she was a devoted mother and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Along with her husband Gary, Deborah is survived by her dedicated children, Thomas Griswold and his wife Lisa of Santa Clarita, CA, Wendy Conway and her husband Mark of Amherst, NH, cherished grandchildren, Jarod Griswold, Ethan Griswold, Madelyn Conway, Abaigeal Conway, sister Karen Guggenheim, sister-in-law Sue Griswold, and niece Patti Mraz. Besides her parents, Deborah was predeceased by her brother’s-in-law, David Guggenheim and Robert Griswold. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A Memorial Service will be officiated by Deacon Richard Sennett at 12 PM during the visitation. Interment will be private.
