Alton Peck

Alton (Lain) Peck, 87, beloved husband of Faye J. Peck, passed away on September, 29, 2016 at the Meriden Center after a brief illness. Born in Meriden on June 14, 1929, he was the son of the late Alton and Ruth Peck. Alton was a Meriden resident most of his life and graduated from the Virginia Military Institute. Mr. Peck was a veteran of the Korean War. During his service in the U.S. Army he earned a Bronze Star. He is survived by his three sons, Michael Peck and his wife Deborah of Wallingford, Jeffrey Peck and his wife Cheryl of Meriden and Christopher Peck and his wife Lori of Meriden; his five grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffrey Jr., Karianne, Samantha and Chelsea and his great-grandchild, Mitchell. Mr. Peck was predeceased by his sister Helen Peck. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, October 4th at 11:30 am at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street Meriden. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 to 11:30 am prior to the service. Burial with military honors will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Antique Veterans of Meriden Honor Guard, care of the Muravnick Meriden Senior Center, 22 West Main St. Meriden, CT 06451.
