Kenneth Ray Williams Obituary

Kenneth Ray Williams was born on January 18, 1962 to Frank and Clemietene Williams in Monroe, Louisiana. He lived his young life in Monroe where he grew to be known as Boone among his friends and family. Boone played football but he loved playing basketball, hanging out at the Recreation Center, and having fun with friends and family. He established himself as the fun, loving, happy go lucky guy that was carried with him throughout his life. Upon graduating from Richwood High School he studied at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He then lived in Dallas, Texas for several years. In 1992 Boone relocated to California. Ken found employment with ease and was employed with different companies during his first few years in California. He then studied at Career Solutions earning a Certificate as A Certified Computer Technician. Ken worked in this field for a few years. Ken then moved on to working with Best Buy in Loss Prevention for many years. He then transitioned to becoming a Merchandiser. He worked with various companies over the years but his final employment was with SAS Retail Merchandising. Ken was a dedicated worker who demonstrated outstanding work ethics. He was appreciated by his employer and co-workers. In 1993 he began to attend The Salvation Army Corp in Newark, California. It was here that he established a covenant with The Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. Ken became a member and attended regularly. Years later he transitioned to The Salvation Army Corp of Antioch, California and lastly to The Salvation Army Corp of Stockton, California. The majority of Ken's spiritual growth was under the ordained authority of Pastor / Major Jackie Smith. The last three years he was in the pastoral care of Captain's Crisitian and Rebecca Sibaja. Boone met Enedina soon after his arrival to California. After a 5 year relationship the two married in 1997. To their union were born three children adding to their combined family of 5 children. They first lived in Union City, California then established their home in Stockton, California. Life for them was filled with a lot of family time, baseball fields, football fields, cheerleading events, and traveling. Ken loved his family. As he loved his brothers and sisters he demanded and taught his children to establish unbreakable bonds among them that astonished many. Outside of establishing his assured eternal life in heaven; ensuring strong bonds among his children was one of his greatest feats in life. All who encountered Ken smiled, laughed, and knew he was genuine. Ken was the life of the party. His spirit filled life touched many people in his 53 God given years. Though he loved kidding, joking, and laughing, Ken freely and enthusiastically shared Jesus with any who would listen. He planted many seeds along his journey in life. Kenneth Ray Williams Sr. was truly blessed. He departed this life on October 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his Father, Frank Williams Sr. and his mother, Clementine Williams.
