David L. Sachs PhD, beloved father, was born on the south side of Chicago. He came to California in the sixties for his doctorate at UC Berkeley, and later was one of the first physicists at SAIC. He was a patron of Klezmer and Jazz, and attended the Symphony and Opera in San Diego. He was involved in local theatre in the 90’s. He traveled extensively with the love of his life Enid Scoffin. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was known for his sense of humor. He is survived by a daughter and son, sister, niece, nephew, and four grandsons.
