William Casey, 84 of Hemet, California passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016, at Mill Creek Manor in Mentone, California. He was born Thursday, November 5, 1931 in St Paul, Minnesota, and was the son of the late William and Ann Casey. He was married to the love of his life, Carolyn Casey for over 55 years. He proudly served as a TSGT in the U.S. Air Force from 1949 until 1957 and was MIA for 6 months and also saw combat in the Korean War. Casey liked to travel and spent many years criss crossing the United States with as a family camping and exploring with the RV. Just recently in February 2016 Casey and Carolyn took a trip to their favorite spot, Hawaii for a relaxing get away. Preceded in death was his sister Joan Haugen and his son Stephen Casey. Surviving is his wife , Carolyn ( Spangler ) Casey, sons, Michael Casey and James Bennett, daughters, Debbie Carroll and Patti Casey, sister, Kathleen Lester ; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. A Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday , June 17, 2016 at Oak Hill Memorial Park located at 2640 Glenridge Rd Escondido, California 92027. A reception will follow.
