Sandra Kobs

Sandra Kay Kobs, 68, of Santee, California, lost her battle with cancer as she passed away at her residence on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 with her family by her side. Sandra was born on July 25, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents William Edward Rosier and Viola June Hartman. Her parents moved the family to California not long after that and settled into San Diego, where Sandra graduated from Lincoln High School. She met the love of her life, Richard Vernon Kobs and they decided to marry in 1969 and were hoping to celebrate their wedding anniversary of 46 years this Saturday. In addition to being a homemaker and raising two children, Sandra decided to work outside of the home, and got a job in the hotel service industry, becoming a housekeeping manager, where she worked in that field for 26 years. Sandra enjoyed the simple life where she could spend time cooking for the family, shopping, listening to her Elvis songs, vacationing with the family and making sure every holiday event was spent at her house with all of the family attending. In her free time, she loved to spoil her four granddaughters and find time to treat herself to a pedicure and massage. She was very close to her mother, Viola Rosier, and decided years ago that she wanted to remain close to her mother and be buried next to her at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass, Oregon. Surviving family members include her husband Richard Kobs of Santee, California, son, Billy Kobs of San Diego, daughter Kimberly Campbell of San Diego, two brothers, Lorin Rosier of Oregon and Theodore Rosier of San Francisco, California. She will also be missed by her four granddaughters, Brittany, Cassy, Kelly and Chloe. A Viewing/Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Hull & Hull Funeral Home in Grants Pass, Oregon from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Following the Visitation, a Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the Hull & Hull Funeral Home with Pastor Russ Millsaps officiating. Immediately following the Funeral Service, a Graveside Service will be held at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass, Oregon.
