Charles H. Jones 78 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, July 27, 2016 in Little Rock. He was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Elvie (Campbell) Jones; one sister, Beatrice Barber; two brothers, Billy and James “Curly” Jones. Funeral service will be at 12:30 P.M. Monday, August 1, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gobbler Cemetery in Osage, Arkansas near Alpena, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jones of the home; four daughters, Tawanna Smith and husband, Curtis of Van Buren, Sheila Manchester and husband, Roland of Roland, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Brown and husband, Johnny of Fort Smith, Trenna Sims and husband, John of Van Buren; three sons, Douglas Jones and fiancée’, Sandra of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Ronnie Jones and wife, Gina of Alma, Roy Jones and wife, Freedom of Wagoner, Oklahoma; two sisters, Bessie Reed of Van Buren, Mildred West of Fort Smith; two brothers, Johnny Jones of Uniontown, Harry Jones of Lavaca; twenty four grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. Family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
