Mr. Shane Page of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at the age of 44. He was born March 2, 1972 in Newport, the son of Stanley and Kathy Jo (Thompson) Page. Shane was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and four-wheeler riding. He especially liked track racing, and loved his dogs. Shane was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Jo (Thompson) Page; his paternal grandparents, James and Geneva Page; maternal grandparents, Don and Kathryn Buie; and an uncle, Melvin Page. He is survived by his father, Stanley Page of Newport; one brother, Shawn Page of Newport; one sister, Kera Page-Scudamore and husband, Al, of Jacksonport; two nephews, Colton Guffey and Esi Guffey; and several uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Sandhill Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Steve Guffey, Jeremy Pollard, Shawn Page, Garland Shopher, Shane Heath, David Lee McAllister, Kyle Dodson, and Keith Branscum.
