Maratha DuPriest Clement departed this life on July 15, 2016. She was born September 28, 1932 in McRae, AR to the late Ebb and Pauline DuPriest. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1950. She was a retired bookkeeper for Elaine Implement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church~Harrisburg, serving on many local, district and conference committees of the UMC. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and served as a Sunday School teacher from nursery thru senior high, UMY and adult classes. She was a sustaining member of the Baptist Hospital Volunteers. when not serving her church, she loved to cook for her family, she enjoyed canning and traveling with Claude. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sarah DuPriest Alberson. She is survived by her loving spouse, Claude "June" Clement, Jr. of Harrisburg, AR, one brother, Gerald DuPriest of Conway, AR and brother-in-law, Bill Alberson of North Little Rock, AR. She is also survived by her children, whom she loved deeply, Claudia Mathews (Allen) of Harrisburg, AR, Steven Clement (Clara) of Parkdale, AR, and Cheryl Neelon (Bob) of Summerville, SC. Her loving family expanded with grandchildren: Justin Pamplin (Carole) of Parkdale, AR, Christopher Mathews of Harrisburg, AR, Zachary Pamplin (Michelle) of Parkdale, AR, Kyle Berryman, of Monticello, AR, and Casey Kocher of Harrisburg, AR. Blessings continued with 9 great-grandchildren: Madison, Riley, Hanna, Kye Emma, Havanna, Adalen, Ely, Kylie and Jacob. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harrisburg United Methodist Church Bread of Life Food Pantry, Concord Cemetery or a charity of your choice. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M., July 25, 2016 with a memorial service following at Harrisburg UMC. Visitation will also be held at Concord United Methodist Church in Furlow, AR beginning at 3:00 P.M. on July 25, 2016 with a memorial service following with Rev. Clark Atkins officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. These men will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Tom DuPriest, Bob Alberson, Mike Alberson, Don Alberson, Fred "Skipper" Clement Jr., and James "Jimbo" Clement Jr. Arrangements are with Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke, AR
