Lisa D. Cole of Harrisburg died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born June 22, 1962 in Harrisburg, AR the daughter of James BurDell and Louise (Hardin) Cole. Miss Cole was preceded in death by her parents. She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Harrisburg. She was a lifetime member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends. She especially enjoyed the Women’s Retreats and Women’s Conferences hosted by Trinity Baptist Association. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles and working at the Flea Market where her friendly personality was reflected through her conversations with the customers that came through on a daily basis. Miss Cole is survived by 6 brothers: Billy Cole, J.B. Cole, Jimmy Cole, Doyle Cole, Leroy Cole, and James Cole all of Harrisburg, and 7 sisters: Helen Lea of Russell, AR, Linda Davis of Ellington, IL, Jo Dean Pendergrass of Sulpher Spring, TX, Barbara Webb, Carolyn Partain, Sue Ray, and Ruth Peters all of Harrisburg. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Rev. Gerald Colvin and Rev. John Medlock will conduct the service at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg. Pallbearers will be Jim Parker, Drew Parker, Nick Burnett, Steven Cole, Shannon Hensley, Sean Partain, Branden Murrell, and Jay Bradley Murrell. Honorary pallbearers will be William Cole, Shelton Garrison, Kevin Lacy, Archie Dale Cooper, Chase Creekmore, Eugene Davis, Daniel Cole, Donnie Rasdall, Joey Cole, and the Deacons of Lebanon Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 10:00 A.M at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home. Interment will be in Holly Springs Cemetery.
