Mrs. Lana Darlene Gray Johnson, 74, of Harrisburg departed this life Thursday, August 25, 2016 at her home. She was born August 12, 1942 in Fort Wayne, IN the daughter of Herman and Helen Aston. Lana was a LPN spending most of her time taking care of others, something she truly enjoyed. She was of the Lutheran faith. Lana enjoyed fishing, traveling, games, reading and gambling. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Lana was preceded in death by her father and first husband, Abbie Gray. She is survived by her mother, Helen Aston of North Carolina, her husband, Charles Johnson of Harrisburg, two sons: James Estes of Cordova, Tennessee and Jeffery Estes of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one daughter, Lori Sexton also of Jonesboro, two sisters: Karen Valeri of California and Linda Ensley of North Carolina, six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Graveside services are 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Farm Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Lana enjoyed giving to different charities and in lieu of flowers the family wishes are you also give to the charity of your choice in her memory. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
