Jim Rorex Obituary

Mr. Jim Rorex of Swifton, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the age of 77. He was born May 31, 1939, in Swifton, the son of Kenneth F. and Geneva D. He was the life of the party with his outgoing, larger than life personality. He enjoyed life to the fullest, and loved spending time with his family and friends, of whom he was quite protective. He enjoyed listening to gospel music, and fixing things. He was known to break things, just to have the opportunity to fix them. Mr. Rorex was a member of the Murphy’s Chapel Assembly of God in Swifton, also attending Abiding Faith. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Brandon Lloyd Rorex and Britt Nicole Rorex; two brothers, Harold G. and Kenneth Rorex, Jr.;three sisters, Beatrice Roberts, Juanita Housh, and Joan Prokopf; and his parents.
