Mrs. Geneva (Reed) Stout of Tuckerman, departed this life on Monday, July 25, 2016, at the age of 84. She was born November 21, 1931, in Stranger’s Home, at Alicia, Arkansas, the daughter of Delmer and Ruth (Pritchett) Reed. She married Mr. Willie Lee Stout on September 4, 1951, and they were married 54 years at the time of his death in 2006. Mrs. Stout was a retired LPN, and of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed needlework, quilting, reading, and taking care of children. Mrs. Stout was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Stout; one son, Terry Stout; two brothers, Charles and Bobby Reed; one sister, Moneva Purvis; and her parents. She is survived by three sons, Gary Wayne Stout and wife, Cheryl, of Summerfield, Florida, James Paul Stout and wife, Vicki, of Palm Bay, Florida, and Dennis Ray Stout and wife, Dana, of Madison, Alabama; two daughters, Carolyn Sue Babb and husband, Mickey, of Tuckerman, Arkansas, and Janette Kay Stout of Washington, DC; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Stout of Fredericksburg, Virginia; one brother, Michael Reed of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; one sister, Frances Gillespie of El Cajon, California; thirty-two grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. until service. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following in Gracelawn Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Trever Adams, John Thomas, Brandon Bailey, Terry Joe Babb, Kolbe Thomas and Mike Stout.
