Mr. Charles Lynn Moore of Newark, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the age of 69. He was born November 8, 1946 in Batesville, the son of C.L. and JoAnn (Snelgrove) Moore. Mr. Moore was owner and operator of Moore’s Dairy Crème in Newark, along with his wife, Mary, for 40 years. He loved working at the restaurant, and visiting with the people. Mr. Moore enjoyed camping, woodworking, and refinishing antique furniture. Most importantly, he loved the time he spent with his family. Mr. Moore was a faithful member of the Newark Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Joe Moore; and his parents. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Beth (Gilbert) Moore of the home; two daughters, Christy Moore Davis of Newark, and Melissa Moore Parker of Newark; six grandchildren, Layton McDoniel, Katelyn McDoniel, Jordyn Parker, Addison Parker, Emma Parker, and Amanda Davis; one great-grandchild, A.J. Davis; several beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and a lifetime of friends. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Monday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Newark Church of Christ with Mr. Danny Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in Holcombe Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Ernie Pectol, Kendall Rutledge, George Green, Billy Davis, Dennis Jarrett, and Richard Gilbert.
