Jesse LaVerne Longamore, Sr., 91, of Hartford, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 in his home. He was born in Rideot, Illinois on April 2, 1925. He was a World War II Army veteran and a machinist for the Teledyne Corporation. He was of the Lutheran faith and was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Longamore. Graveside services are 11:00AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is survived by his son, Jesse Longamore, Jr. of Hartford, AR; a daughter, Connie Denham and her husband Bob of Hartford, AR; one brother, Robert Longamore; three sisters, Jean, Joan and Jenette and seven grandchildren, Chynna, Traccy, Azzia, Dana and Garry Denham and Melissa and Jesse Longamore. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
