Earl Wayne Montgomery, 68 of Van Buren passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 in a local hospital. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. He was of the Pentecostal Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents George & Thelma (Stewart) Montgomery. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. He is survived by five sons, Jeff Montgomery and his wife Amy of Fort Smith, AR, Charles Montgomery and his wife Melissa of Slidell, LA, Joseph Montgomery and his wife Jennifer, Michael Montgomery and Robert Montgomery all of Fort Smith, AR; two sisters, Lorrene Vanderlyke of Roland, OK and Lorie Jackson of Houston, TX; eleven grandchildren, Scott, Rayce, Ryan, Tyler, Kristan, Cody, Logan Jessica, Matthew, Lucan and Kaemon Montgomery and a granddaughter by marriage, Ashli Montgomery and three great grandchildren, Xander, Ryleigh and Bradley Montgomery.
