Dale Edward Wise, 81, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 in a local nursing home. He was born on May 20, 1035 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked at Desoto Furniture Factory and was a maintenance worker at Brownwood Life Center. A family held graveside memorial service will be at 10:00AM, Friday, June 10, 2016 at the U.S. National Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Effie of Van Buren, AR; two sons, Roger Wise of Fort Smith, AR and Randy Wise of Van Buren, AR; two daughters, Marla Wise of Fort Smith, AR and Sherry Boyd of Van Buren, AR; two brothers, Billy Wise of Barling, AR and Alan Wise of Fort Smith, AR; three sisters, Catherine Evertt, Mary Barber and Patsy Leonard all of Van Buren, AR and several grandchildren. Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
