Ollie McGuire, 100, formerly of Atkins, died Saturday, September 18, 2016, at Shepherd of the Hills Nursing Center in Branson, MO. She was born November 29, 1915, in Atwood, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Oll and Mary Horton Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Joe Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, Otto McGuire; a granddaughter, Debra McVay; three sisters, Vestal Roach, Viva Chance and Lila Davis. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Lorene McGuire of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Lila and Louis Tutor of Branson, MO; grandchildren, Greg and Kathy McGuire and Zanette Standridge, six great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM. Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at Lemley Chapel with the Rev. Fred Goates and Rev. J. C. Kinder officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Carl Venable, Marvin Venable, Jerry Davis, Jack George, Richard Keaster and Grady Hunnicutt.
