Johnie Barrett, 84, of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Morrilton. She was born May 6, 1932, in Hattieville, daughter of the late Ed and Emma Bennett Barrett. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, J.D. and James E. Barrett. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Carol Sorrels; and numerous cousins, family, and friends. Graveside service and burial is 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 28, at Childers Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Holyfield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
