Etola M. “Toby” Seaman, 94, of Atkins, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born August 31, 1921, in Nehalem, Oregon, daughter of the late Bill and Dolly Schoonover Ewan. She worked over 30 years at the Dallas Retirement Village in Dallas, Oregon, before moving to Atkins to spend the last 10 years of her life. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family and her cat, Timmy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred Alonzo “Pete” Seaman; brother, Ray Ewan and wife Eve; sister, Delia and husband Burt Wickstrom; and a grandson, Todd Seaman. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Dolezal of Dallas, Oregon; 2 sons, Lonnie Seaman and wife Vicki of Russellville, and Toby Seaman and wife Jo of Atkins; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
