Billy Carroll Harelson, 80, of Atkins went home to his heavenly Father on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born May 28, 1936, in Atkins to Willie and Pauline Ferguson Harelson . He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Jocille Kolb and Glenda Lucille Harelson. Bill was known for his sweet spirit. He retired from Arkansas National Guard, and was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include his brother, James Ray Harelson and wife Kathy, 2 sisters, Margaret Duvall and husband Dain, Nancy Berkemeyer and husband Andy, brother-in-law, Charles Kolb, Beloved uncle of a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Monday, June 20, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. David Bishop and Rev. Mark Simmons officiating.
