Mr. Edward Samuel "Sam" Booth a resident of New Hope Community passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. He was 68. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, December 11, 2015 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Calvin Faircloth officiating, Skeen Funeral Home directing. Interment will be held at a later date in Indiana. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home Friday prior to the service. He proudly served our country in the US Army and was employed in Civil Service at Ft. Rucker until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Pat Booth, Brundidge; sons, Ben Booth and Brad Booth, both of Logansport, IN; step sons, Lee Dewberry and Chris Dewberry, both of Brundidge; sister, Deborah Holt, Fishers, IN; niece, Shana Holt; nephews, Jason Holt and Leland Caldwell; 4 granddaughters, 4 great granddaughters and one great grandson.
