Jerry Wayne Shelton, age 64, Bristol, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at his residence. He lived most of his life in Unicoi County. Mr. Shelton was a son of the late Robert and Florence Shelton. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Kenneth Shelton and Broyate Shelton on March 3, 2016. He leaves behind to treasure his memories, one daughter, Tyleah Kreeger; one brother, Ronnie Shelton and wife, Sharon of Erwin; four sisters: Hazel Cutshaw and husband, Cloyd, Helen Shelton and husband, Ray, all of Greeneville, Agnes Ramsey and husband, Carl of Flag Pond, Violet Blankenship of Erwin. Several nieces and nephews also survive. There will be a private family viewing at 12:00 P. M. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. It was Mr. Shelton's wishes to be cremated.
