BAHT: William Thomas (Willie) Feb. 26, 1926 – May 8, 2016 William (Willie) Thomas Baht passed away peacefully at Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility, Imperial, SK on Sunday, May 08, 2016 at the age of 87. He was born February 26,1929 near the family homestead close to Imperial, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his son Carmen and his parents George and Louise and his sisters and brothers - Helen, Laverne (Joy), George (Claire), Ralph, Irvin (Florence), Emile (Ann), Eileen (Cliff). Willie is lovingly remembered by his wife Lucy of nearly 64 years, daughters Annette (John) and Sharon (Dale). Willie was very proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren John (Jackie) Jayme and Jessica, Erin (Les) Evan and Alyssa and Tiara (Nolan) Theda and Luca. Willie spent a lifetime in the pursuit of doing his best work in farming, carpentry, plumbing, rock crushing, electrical just to name a few. One of his favourite hobbies was to woodwork making birdhouses and elevators. Willie had an excellent sense of work ethic and pride in everything he did. We will miss the numerous card games and Willie's unconditional love of the family. We would like to as a family extend a heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Long Lake Facility for their kindness and care for him and his family. The Funeral Service will be held in the St. Andrew’s United Church, Imperial, SK on Wednesday, May 11th at 3:00 p.m. Interment in Imperial Cemetery.
