Vaughn: Donald William (Donnie) November. 20, 1939 - June 18, 2016 Donald William (Donnie) Vaughn, aged 76 years, of Simpson, SK passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, SK on Saturday, June 18th, 2016. Donnie was born November 20, 1939 to Harrison and Atha (nee Plant) Vaughn in Simpson, SK. He attended Simpson School. Donnie was a farmer. He enjoyed ice fishing, hunting and touring the countryside. He enjoyed coffee at the garage in Simpson and he loved to visit. Donnie was predeceased by his parents Harrison and Atha; and his sister Lorna Dreger. He is survived by his partner of 31 years, Deanna Stevens; sons Randy of Toronto, ON, Ryan of Imperial, SK, Cory (Stacey) of Redwater, AB; daughter Anna (Nolan) of Semans; step-children Debbie (Denny), Cheryl (Kevin) and Darryl Stevens; grandchildren Cole, Lexi, Riley & Alex; step-grandchildren Katrina, Crystal, Chandi, Kali & T.J.; six great-grandchildren; and sister June Vandevord of Regina, SK and a large extended family. A Private Family Graveside Service will take place in Simpson Cemetery on Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 at 11:00 a.m . A Public Memorial Reception will follow in Simpson Community Centre at noon.
