Dear father of Elaine Ransom and her husband David of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Marie (Steve) Marshall, Jeanette (Darrell) Klingenberg and Eric Ransom. Dear brother of Mary Kernohan, Margaret (Ronald) Gregor, Florence Ball, Lawrence (Helen) Poste, David (Ruth) Poste and brother-in-law of Etta-Marie Poste, and Marie Poste. Predeceased by his siblings; Dorothy Box, Kenneth Poste, Jack Poste, Beverley Poste and James Poste. Ron had been a longtime member of the former congregation of Central United Church, was a past employee for over 38 years of Beachvilime and served with the RCAF during WWII. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday June 24th , 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Huron Park Baptist Church, 199 Berwick St., Woodstock on Saturday June 25, 2016 at 10:30 am. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
