FRACASSO, Ida (nee Bevilacqua) - Passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the VON Sakura House, on Saturday August 20th, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Marcello Fracasso (1995). Cherished mother of Lucien (Ida) Fracasso, John (Cathy) Fracasso, Lina (Luc) Desrochers and Donna Fracasso. Loved "Nona" to Anastashia McKay. Predeceased by her parents Adolfo and Augusta (nee Fracasso) Bevilacqua, as well as her siblings Giuseppe, Carlo, Umberto, Lucia, Lino, Lina and Giovanni. Ida will always be remembered for her love of gardening, cooking, reading and her warm, generous touch. Everyone who met her instantly adored her. Ida was known for being spunky and stubborn with her secret to a long life being hard work. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family Friday August 26th, 2016 at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, from 10 - 11 am. The complete memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11 am with Deacon Bernie McCartney as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations to the VON Sakura House would be appreciated.
