ANDERSON, Gord - Peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Thursday September 8, 2016 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Betty M. (Nee Tyler) Anderson for over 55 years. Dear father of Dale (Amelia) Anderson and Lee (Michelle Bere) Anderson. Loved grandfather of Jenna Wallis and is survived by several extended family members, many friends and professional colleagues. Predeceased by his sister Meryle Wright. Gord was the past owner/operator of Gord Anderson Automotive Group Woodstock, was Past President of the O.A.D.A. (Ontario Automotive Dealership Association), Sweaburg and Woodstock Lions Clubs, past Board of Director of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce and was a longtime volunteer and supporter with the United Way. Cremation has taken place. A celebration to honour Gord’s life, will be held at Anderson’s GM Automotive, 1267 Dundas Street, Woodstock, 519-537-2326 on Saturday September 17th, 2016 from 4-7pm.
