BRENNEMAN, Elizabeth (née Oberländer) – Born on February 5, 1925 in Gyönk, Hungary, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Caressant Care, Woodstock in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of 41 years to the late Lloyd Brenneman (2011). Dear mother of Elizabeth Mongeon (Claude), Gisela Horvath (Alex), all of Brantford; Garry Brenneman (Diane), and Raymond Brenneman (Marybel), all of Embro. Loved grandmother of Kathleen Simon (Dino), Michael Simon (Trisha), Todd Mongeon, Tyler Mongeon (Patricia), Cheryl Barnard, Garry Brenneman Jr. (Lesley), Sara Avoledo (Mike), and Anne MacKenzie (Donald). Great-grandmother of Adam, Noah, Briar, Lauren, Taylor, Braydon, Kael, Kye,Anthony, Owen, Kaitlyn, Michael, Ian, and Sam. Predeceased by her brother, Adam, and sister Kristina in Germany. Friends will be received at Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Elizabeth’s long-time parish, Bethany Lutheran Church 175 Springbank Ave., Woodstock on Wednesday, August 31 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Tanya Ramer and The Rev. Dick Holm officiating. Interment in the 17th Line Cemetery, East Zorra. Contributions to the Woodstock Hospital or Bethany Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
