ROSS, Douglas Keith - Passed away at Woodstock Hospital on Thursday August 18, 2016 in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years, Barbara “Lois” Ross (2013). Dear father of David (Mavis) Ross of Waterloo and Brenda Ross of London. Cherished grandfather of Scott Ross and Heather Ross, both of Waterloo. Doug will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Donald, Alice and Ella. Doug was born in Micksburg, Ontario. He served for 33 years with the OPP. He was stationed in Northern Ontario, Peterborough, Ridgetown and Woodstock before his retirement in 1983. He was a life member of the OPP Veterans Association and the Ontario Police Association. Doug was also a long time member of College Avenue United Church and the Senior Men’s Club. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Monday August 22, 2016 from 1-2 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2pm.
