Went home be with her Lord. Marjorie May Gardner on Sunday July 10, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Charles Gardner (2014), whom Marjorie was married to for 64 years.

Dear mother of Stephen (Lorrie) of Baden, David of Salem, and Mary and (Paul) Krabbe of North Bay. Cherished Nanny of Jennifer, Andrea, Kelsey, Katherine and Andrew. Marjorie and her siblings Charlie, Morris, Robert Thompson and Barbara Smith grew up in Toronto.

Predeceased by her parents Charles and Mable (nee Thorne) Thompson.

Marjorie was a long-time member of Grandview Baptist Church, Kitchener as well as Missionary Tabernacle, Kitchener.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Marjorie with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday July 14, 2016 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Stan Fowler officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room. A private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo at a later date.
