Peacefully, with loving wife Marlene at his side, at Barnswallow Place in Elmira on Friday, August 26, 2016 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Weishar) for 61 years. Father of Brian Voisin and wife Lisa Toner, Shelley Plein and husband Shain, Dave Voisin, and Douglas Voisin and wife Tracey. Grandfather of Mathew Voisin (San), Jamie Voisin, Ian Wilson, Allison Wilson, Connor Plein, Braeden Plein, Courtney Voisin, Brandon Voisin, Justin Voisin (Jenny). Brother of Doris Schaefer, Ken Voisin (Betty), Gloria Mayhew (Jerry). Brother-in-law of Marilyn Voisin. Predeceased by his parents Loretta Schiestel and Lawrence Voisin, and brother Robert Voisin. Visitation will be held at St. Michael’s RC Church, 240 Hemlock St., Waterloo (at University Ave.) on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with Rev. David Walter as Celebrant. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo will be followed by a reception at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo.
