Doris Bluhm

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side at Sunnyside Home LTC, Kitchener on Friday July 15, 2016, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Bluhm (2003). Dear mother of Barbara, Dale and the late Doug Bluhm (2011). Doris will be lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Alf Slumkoski and Irene Sachs, and grandson Mark Bluhm. Doris was a longtime member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Doris with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday July 19, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at 11 a.m., with Rev. David Malina officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. A private family interment will be held at Mount Hope, Kitchener. In lieu of flowers condolences for the family and donations to St. Matthews Lutheran Church or Sunnyside Foundation may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
