Anne spent her last days surrounded by family and close friends before passing away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in her home at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener. She was 94 years old. Loving wife of the late David Douglas Millar (1999) and mother to the late David Blaine Millar (2013). Dear mother of Christine (Jim) Johnson and mother-in-law of Esther Millar. Sadly missed by grandchildren David (Valerie Shaw) Millar, Ben Millar, Dawn Marshall, Kelly (Colin) Verscheure and Jim Marshall and great-grandchild Arshan Shah as well as her step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ward Eby, Gary Eby and Tim Eby as well as Loella Eby and Ruth Hill. Predeceased by brothers Don Eby and Foster Eby. Anne was a lifelong learner, had a keen interest in both family and local history, and was an avid storyteller. She loved nature and cared deeply about others. Sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Winston Park for their loving care of Anne over the last four years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Anne with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. The memorial service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow in the Fireside Room. Interment at First Mennonite Church Cemetery, 800 King St. E., Kitchener.
