Earl "Mort" Mortimer, of Walkerton, passed away on Monday, June 27th, 2016. He was 80. Beloved husband of Norma. Loving father of Debi Mortimer of Walkerton, Randy Mortimer (Cindy) of Amherstsburg, Cindy Mortimer of Walkerton, Rob Mortimer (Brigitte Bureau) of Casselman and Michele Mortimer-Day of Walkerton. Proud Poppy of Brianna, Scott, Véronique, Léa, Katrina and Brittany and great grandfather of Talon. Dear brother of Vera Livingstone of Prince George. BC. Mort will also be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Yvonne Mortimer of Woodstock and his brother-in-law Morris Tschumi of Aurora. Mort will be dearly missed by the Cassidy families. Mort was predeceased by his parents Edward and P. Ellen, his sister and brother-in-law Betty and Ken Frosch, sister Nora Tschumi and his brother Nelson. Mort's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, on Friday, July 1st, 2016 at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St. S, Walkerton). Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church (221 Victoria Street, Walkerton). Rev. David Weise officiating.
