It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Martha Diplaros on July 8 2016 at the age of 86, peacefully and surrounded by loving and devoted family by her side at Scarborough General Hospital She was born on Feb 10 1930 in Ag. Ioannis Theologos Sparti Laconia Greece to the late parents of Kyriakos and Sofia Kloutsouniotis. Beloved wife to the late Demetrios mother of her devoted and loving daughters Tina and Husband Demetrios (Jim) Moumos, and the late Panagiota was only new born a few months old. Her sons Anargyros, Peter, Chris, Paul and wife Alexandra, and Nick her youngest of all. Proud Grandmother to Nektarios, Kostas and wife Danielle , (the late Demetrios left us Dec 5 2008 in Afghanistan) Martha, Joanna, Angelika, Christos. Great Grand Mother to Anastasia, Demetrios (Takis), Christafor, Eric and Nellie. Her brothers and sister in laws here in Canada and back in Greece the (late Geṓrgios) his wife Anna, John and wife Helen. Here in Toronto her brothers Gregory and wife Helen, Nick and wife Eleftheria, Stratos and wife Voula. including many nieces,nephews and a very large extended family including her dear friends and those that she spent the past 35 years with at the Philoptoxos of Metamorphosis Tou Sotiros Greek Orthodox Church in Toronto. Helping as much as she could and as best she knew how. Some of them are still with us others have left us as the Lord had called upon them to heaven, as has our dear mother now been called by the Lord to join them in heaven. She always made countless sacrifices, raised, cared for and nurtured us through our infancy and childhood, she will be dearly missed by all but not forgotten, will always be in our hearts, memories and dreams.
