It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Ron Daigneault at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Jeannette Daigneault (nee Robineau). Loving father of Darlene of Ottawa, Michael of Banff, Alberta, Richard of Schumacher and Ron Jr. of Toronto. Dear brother of Gerald Daigneault (Lise), Nancy Short (Ron) and Marlene Gooch (Late Albert). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Moise and Dorothy Daigneault and his sister Joyce Pratt. Ron was the president, owner and operator of New North Timmins Leasing. He was known to be the sole exporter of Malette Lumber and Waferboard for many years. He retired as a businessman in 1989. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from the Miron-Wilson Chapel (Deacon Michel Neron officiating). Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson reception centre. Remembrance donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
