The family of Lauri Jaakko Luoma wish to share that he went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 13th, 2016. A loving and faithful husband to Marion (nee Michell) predeceased, and Gwen (nee Stevenson). Proud father of Laurie and Terry (Natalie). Special Grandpa of Jonathan (Lisa) and Kristy (Sebastian), Aidan and Elle. Loving Poppi to Dylan and Gabby. Survived by his sisters Lilja (Jouko), Leila (Brian), and Liisa (Juho) and brothers Lenni (Hilkka), Launo, Luja (Susan), Leo (Irma) predeceased, and Leino predeceased. Sadly missed by many sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, and nephews. Visitation in the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, Friday August 19th, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm, and Saturday beginning at 9am. Funeral Service in Berean Baptist Church, 231 Bloor Street, Sudbury, Saturday, August 20th, 2016, at 10am, with reception to follow.
