In Loving Memory of Emilia (nee Greco) Alkunas 88 years Peacefully, Monday, September 19th, 2016 at her residence. Beloved wife of Frank Alkunas predeceased 2005. Loving mother of Michael Alkunas. Loving sister of Donald Greco (wife Diane), Marguerite Nadeau (husband Joe), Rudy Greco predeceased (wife Shirley), Claire Hamer (husband Stan predeceased) and Ray Greco (wife Gaetanne) both predeceased. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Emilia had been a dedicated teacher in both English and French Separate Schools for over 14 years. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 P.M. Thursday with parish prayers at 7:30 P.M. Thursday) Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, 39 Walford Road, Sudbury Friday, September 23rd, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
