RANNELLI, Barbara Joyce Joyce passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Health Sciences North on Thursday, August 25th, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of 62 years to Tom. Daughter of Violet (Pieri) and Herman Puhan predeceased. Cherished mother of Beatrice (Randy) Jackson, Karen predeceased, Tom predeceased, Sandra (Terry) Gobbo, and Valerie (Vaughn) Chabot. Dear sister of Jim predeceased, Ken (Alice predeceased), and Carol (Robert) St. Jacques. Joyce was a proud and dedicated grandmother to Michael, Lindsay, Thomas, Amber, Taylor, TJ, Corey, Kelsie, and Carlie. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends, Arlene, Donna, and Nicole. Joyce’s hobbies included needlework, fishing, and spending many hours at the cottage with her family. She made holidays special celebrations. Chocolates were Mom’s diamonds. She’d say thank you and then hide them. Joyce was always there when you needed a hug or a shoulder to cry on. She leaves us with a legacy of love, courage, and strength. Celebration of Life to be held at Holy Redeemer Parish, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Sudbury, on Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 at 11am, followed by interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery, 365 Second Avenue, Sudbury. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1553 Weller Street, Sudbury. No public visitation. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Sudbury Brain Injury Association. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home. Donations can be made at the church or the Legion hall.
