James Paterson 'Pat' Cluff Obituary

James Paterson 'Pat' Cluff, CPT Retired - Pat passed away peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of the late Norma-Jean (nee Rice) for 46 years. Loving father of L. Yvonne Nyenhuis (Tom) of Stratford, Cara C. Van Massenhoven (Bill) of St. Marys and James ‘Jim’ P. Cluff (Kristina) of Gatineau, Quebec. Cherished Grandfather of Kurt, Nicole, Rebecca, Micheal, Lexi, James, and Great-Grandpa of Xavier, Jayven and a baby girl to be born. Also survived by his sisters Frances Myers (Jim), Ruth Thom (the late JT), sisters-in-law Peggi and Lucy, and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Alberta (nee Cole), and brothers Robert and Peter. Cremation has taken place and memorial visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, April 29, 2016, from 11 a.m. until the time of Pat’s memorial service at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at Egmondville United Church and interment will take place at the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock, at a later date. Pat’s family would like to express deep gratitude to the nurses and staff at Seaforth Community Hospital for providing such excellent care, support and compassion. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, University of Ottawa Heart Institute or Seaforth Community Hospital would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
