Anthony passed away peacefully at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Friday, April 22, 2016. Born in Qormi, Malta, on March 14, 1949, Anthony Joseph George Xerri of Seaforth, formerly of Toronto, was in his 68th year. Loving father of Cathy Dunseith (Paul) of Seaforth. Cherished Nunu of Kayla (fiancée Nikola), Randi, Carter; and Great-Nunu of Kevin. Dear brother of George Xerri, Mario Xerri (Helen), Emanuel Xerri (Ann), Michael Xerri (Pam), Louis Xerri (Phil), Vickey Xerri, Mary Byzenko (Steve) and Josie Morin (Daniel). Anthony will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Carmel and Catherine (nee Mula) Xerri. Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. A private graveside funeral service is being held at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Mississauga, at a later date.
